It just means I don't think homosexuality is natural and shouldn't be practiced by humans...but as I already said it's nobodies business who marries who. I'm kind of taking a Ron Paul stance on this.

I agree its not natural in the sense its not what "God" intended. But neither is blowjobs, handjobs, or anything sex related that doesn't lead to procreation.

We are thrown into this world against are will and I say let people do whatever they want as long as it doesn't hurt anybody.

Oh, please... If there was a God then everything would be ending up just the way it's supposed to. Even some fucking animals (LOL) are gay, and they don't even have a free will. Did God make a mistake when creating these animals?

It still suprises me that people with strict views from the cave-man period manage to get this far.

It's none of his business who marries who, and honestly, I hope he drops like a brick in the votings from now on, because if he had his way, we'd probably still be stuck with such naivity 100 years from now.

just because i'm a cave-man doesn't mean that i can't get as far as others! just look, i like fast food!

My personal apologies, I ment no offense to the cave tribes.

what....?

ive seen ron paul say a few times he doesnt have problems with same sex marriages.

I think Ron Paul is personally against it, but thinks the government should stay out of it.

except that personally extends no further than his actual person.  he feels that gay people should be allowed to marry.

so the article seems to intentionally misrepresent his position on the matter.

Unfortunately, neither side of this issue will agree to handle this the correct way ...

Why does any government that claims that people should not be discriminated against based on lifestyle choices define what marriage is at all, or offer particular advantages to those people who fall into their definition of marriage?

What's even worse is that it's not always a matter of lifestyle choices, but that they're born the way they are, which makes this move racist.

Homosexuality is not a race ... There are significant differences between sexuality and race, and trying to make them equivalent is not reasonable.

Beyond that, while I'm fully willing to admit that people are attracted to what they're attracted to with almost no control over it, homosexuality is a lifestlye choice; much like heterosexuality, swinging, bondage, being a playboy, and countless other pursuits. A heterosexual marriage is a very particular kind of lifestyle choice which (for a long time) has received substantial benefits from the government, and the argument is that this is discriminatory against other lifestyle choices. The solution to this problem is not to open up the same benefits to a handful of significantly different lifestyle choices while still discriminating against everyone else.

I put quotations on God so don't start an atheist argument with me.

I'm just saying by design gay sex wasn't probably was not intended. But frankly I don't care what people do as long as its consensual.

I guess I used the wrong word for it. My point was though that being gay is not always something you choose, so punishing people who got born in a different way than others would be just like hating on people for being born black or white or whatever.

You get my point.

Comparing homosexuality and heterosexuality  to swinging and bondage is ridiculous. You're comparing simple attraction to fucked up fetishes.

Why does the prostate gland stimulate orgasm then

A few things...
The reason we have 50 laws regarding gay marriage is because in every state constitution there is a clause that states that the United States constitution has supreme authority, and the next authoritative law is federal law. If there isn't a federal law prohibiting something, then the states can choose to have a law that forbids or preserves the right. (Another state law: the minimum drinking age in America under federal law is 18, but any state that has a drinking age below 21 loses federal funding for roads. Since Native American reservations don't need to follow state law, there potentially is a reservation in America where you can drink if you are 18.)

Santorum is not a "distant third", he is very much in the running at second place for the GOP bid. He was ahead of Romney as late as February 20th

Ron Paul is a devout christian and most certainly is not "ok with" gay marriage. He simply believes that the federal government doesn't have the right to say who can marry who, he thinks the issue should be at a state level (He's a big constitutionalist, and that's from Article 4, which lays out the state's rights)

And finally, Santorum cannot "unmarry" any gay couples, even if he passes a federal law forbidding it, because of a legal term known as a "grandfather clause", which allows people to continue doing something that they previously have done even after it becomes illegal.
