No. Communism would have at least tried to be LGBT friendly, much as how Communism was at least nominally Feminist. The realities may have slid, but they at least tried to have the appearance of tolerance and equality.

Modern Russia is an ideological wasteland. There is really no belief in anything, where the liberals are ignored or oppressed, the state blatantly promotes the wealthy (so long as those wealthy in turn support the state), and their so-called "Liberal Democratic Party" is a racist organization.

did this "room" character give any reason as to why he believes homosexuality is wrong? i noticed him mention he is not religious, so that excludes the most common reason.

i always thought it was strictly anal sex, straight or gay, but usually refering to gay.

This bill is Stone age and wrong. At the end of the day, sexuality is not a choice. This "Propaganda" bullshit makes me laugh. What is it 1939 again? People are Straight/Gay/Bi, It's no big deal. It's just the insecure people who are homophobic. Other people's sexual orientation shouldn't affect you. If it does then I suggest you get a life. BTW, I'm straight. Not that it matters.

does this mean you are for gay marriage?

if you are against that they can't have sex that's why i ask. many have this argument "yes i have no problem with them having sex" then "people only should have sex after marriage" and then "no gay shouldn't have the roght to marry it's a thing between man and a woman" all three meanings don't sound so bad but in the end everyone should understand what that would mean if you are for all three points together.

that's a great trick but that shows how those people really think. no clue how you think but that's how many religious people think.

btw this room guy i crazy wow! if he will get a gay kid anytime the kids life will be horrible!
