The official site for whatever the 3DS game Capcom, Namco Bandai and Sega are working together on has been updated with what could be hints at characters set to feature in the title.

The site now features three petri dishes with Capcom, Namco Bandai and Sega logos in each one. Clicking on any of the dishes zooms in to reveal three coloured 'X' chromosomes.

We've stared at them for a while now but can't figure out what they represent. The first one seems like it could be Ryu's red headband on his black hair, but we're at a loss for the other two. Let us know if you think of anything...

The project was revealed during Nintendo's Direct broadcast last month, and was accompanied by a website featuring mysterious images depicting a vault, suggesting the trio could be bringing back locked away franchises or characters.
