Pokémon Black & White - Dream World Expansion

Following the reveal of the WiFi events earlier this week, the full details for the Pokémon Movie Dream Home has been announced and is live. This Dream Home will be accessible in the international Dream World from now until May 29th 2012, lasting over a month more than the WiFi event. This Dream Home doesn't provide any new Pokémon but has a trailer for the movie as well as a feature, if you bring the WiFi Reshiram or Zekrom to the Dream World. If you bring those Pokémon into it, you unlock the Reshiram & Zekrom C-Gears respectively by playing a mini-game. You can only receive one C-Gear per game version but can get both if you have both games. In addition to this, the Victini Doll decor item will also be obtainable and is now via the password PGLVICTINI12

EV's can be used to customize your poke's to your liking.

It just ruins the meta game.  This is most apparent in competative communities like smogon that base all thier guides and strategies on having perfect poke's.

Thus the reason I no longer go online anymore. It's just not worth, especially after spending hundreds of hours perfecting my team for some bastard with hacked baby pokemons (I'm kidding you not) to destroy my team without any effort at all. I now only battle with people that I know won't use those under-handed tactics. 

I agree with your IV idea, and that would make for much more strategies on the fly than the current method (though i'm a bit fond of the "uniqueness" of every pokemon), and pokemon has already moved a bit into the "make-your-own-strategy-depending-on-the-situation", with the inclusion of re-usable TMs.

I totally agree with this. I stopped playing Pokemon after Ruby but when black and White were announced me and my girlfriend both grabbed a copy (Black for her and White for me ) and I was so excited to battle other people online. Unfortunately no matter how much effort I put into my Pokemon team I will never have the time to raise Pokemon with perfect stats. Getting a full team at level 100 is time consuming enough for me. Luckily more and more of my friends are getting into Pokemon again so my team should be put to good use soon
