Actually, I'm not so sure. I get the impression Activision wasn't paying Atari a dime in royalties, and I've heard that the 10NES chip was created to ensure that Nintendo got paid for the NES (Nintendo didn't charge royalties, they just charged $9 per cartridge for each chip). That's actually why I want to see the source material; it'll be educational to know how any of this applies to, say, DVD royalties etc.

You know you could get a composite cable for gaming consoles such as the NGC, Wii, and PS2. It would look a lot better!

The Virtual Console only covers 10% of the SNES's library. And there are still a few people who are not willing to buy a Wii for $150, but might still pay $30 to replay their childhoods. A stupid idea, yes, but I've gone to game stores and have found people selling unofficial emulators that play NES, SNES, and Genesis games, so there's obviously a market.
