A deaf child could have predicted that chocoloco. Take your pussy assed predictions back to neogaf! :P

Here we make MAN predictions and accept the consequences if we are right or wrong.

I have never once even opened the mbl threads on GAF as the guys on GAF really know their shit in sports threads.Hell, they teach me how to better talk smack that would get me banned here or make me look like a prick here when it is the norm there.

Why does your , "Save the Seeker," link go to the MAN thread? I am going to have to think of a reason to get that back in the mix of great threads.

That year a bunch of people jumped on the Rockie's bandwagon including myself for the 2nd, 3rd round of the playoffs. They called it Rocktober and a lot of people bought shirts that are probably now filling up goodwill with unsought and bought apparel. I think after the first game vs Boston I knew they would get destroyed and I stopped watching or paying attention. Good thing, as I think they got sweeped if I recall correctly.

Texas is going to make the playoffs for sure, and likely as the one seed. The only question is whether the A's can take one of those wild-card slots. I hope so, and I'm less afraid of this month than I was a month ago, but this is probably one of the more brutal Septembers a team can face. The only consolation is that the Rangers don't have it much easier!

I have to say that I'm actively rooting for Baltimore. I have no idea how they're doing this, and apparently neither does anybody else, but it's great to see. I'm hoping against hope that they manage to overtake the Yankees (you heard me, trunks!). Although if they don't lie down and get swept by us, I will be slightly less chipper... >_>

Obligatory Questions: Does A rod take steriods and when do the playoffs start?

It seems the only good team posters support here is the White Sox and Yankees. I swear this sport will not take off until we have a rockies' dynasty.

^^^ I only know of two members other than me from Colorado that are active at all. That said, go anybody, but the Texas Rangers.

Pfft. Go anyone but the Angels! I do not mind if the Rangers make it. If Mariners can play like they did last month maybe they will even have a shot.

Yeah, a hot streak could do it considering all the club are pretty close to .500 . Do you feel they are improved or worse than last year?

I hate on the Rangers because they were owned by Bush Junior, not because they are not a good team.

The Cubs have a very good chance at losing 100 games. Heck, they have a chance for breaking their all time record for losses, but the Astros are nine and a half games worse than them. It just seems impossible that a team can be that bad.

Fairly new here, I live within ten minute walk of Great American so been fun to see Reds be good (I've had more fireworks, given for hoe runs and victories, than I can count in 2012) after two decades of struggles. I am hopeful might make a run in the playoffs with players like Cueto and Votto.

Welcome to the site! It is indeed a good time to be a Reds fan. Although it's not like the team's been terrible for the whole two decades. Y'all made the playoffs two or three years back, and I still remember how y'all were robbed back in '99. Almost a hundred wins...and no playoffs. Yikes!

Yeah, I think that the Reds have a very good shot this year with that awesome bullpen of theirs.  If they get ahead, they are nearly unbeatable.
