The nationals are a young team trying to build a fanbase here in Washington of course they are going to struggle out the gate.  Prior management and coaches did not take the necessary steps to make the team a winner so we were the floor mats of the NL East.  Once they got rid of those people, they have been improving ever since.  Ill rather have our team mirror the 90 braves with awesome pitching, decent hitting and a good farm system and trips to the playoff every year than an win it now team anyday.  The Washington capitals are a good example of that structure not working.

Dont know why you are trying to compare Peyton situation with that of Stephen's.  Peyton signing was a mistake on the part of the Broncos, he is at the twilight of his career, he is part of a win it now mentatily in Denver that is going to fall flat on their face and he is one small hit away from ending his career.  Complete oppsite of Stephen's.

If your team winds up being the second coming of the 90's Braves then I will take back everything that I said.  Well, I do wish you and your team luck.  I'd rather see them win than the Yankees.  I just don't agree with you about shutting Strasburg down.  Sorry.

Stupid Bartolo Colon. How the heck am I supposed to grief Giants fans about Melky Cabrera now?!

Shoot, at the current rate of things, the Mariners will help keep them out too! Oooh, how delicious it'd be for the Angels to finish last...*drool*

As of late I only pay attention to white sox, but I just noticed Mariners have won 8 in a row O_o

Ichiro was curse? Wild card possibility?

8 in a row, something like 15 of 17 won. Your boys are on a tear, alright. I was wondering why you hadn't spoken up about that...

Speaking of the white sox. They won a nail biter tonight against the Mariners. At first. Was having some weird feelings about it, but am actually happy!

Wouldn't it be horrible if cubs played sox in W.S and lost? I would almost think that the sox would know better and just let them win. Lol, no one in Llinois would watch the sox again if that happened.

The White Sox did beat the Cubs in the 1906 World Series.  Maybe that's why no one watches them...

I watched the ending of the Sox game tonight and it was insane.  You guys need to do something about that bullpen of yours.

We do not have as much money as Boston Amp... :P

Why am I just hearing about Roger Clemens trying to get back in? Wow!

Thankfully CWS has great hitting! Adam Dunn learnded everything he knows about home runs from Griffey. :)

Still, Mariners are on a tear and for the Sox to be able to take the best team in baseball over the last month out is kind of a good sign!

I think that they have a good shot at winning the division.  It's all probably going to come down to their remaining games against the Tigers.

The Dodgers are certainly doing their damndest to become Yankees West. I hope that the results are mediocrity across the board.

I find it ironic that they just got a bunch of guys from Yankees Jr.  (The Boston Red Sox).

I hope this deal was good for both sides.
At least it was good for Boston ... So much money saved to rebuild the team.

Go rookies!!!!

Oh wait, they are doing horrible like I predicted.
