Vita, if I had to choose.

At the moment, the DS - I guess since the 3DS plays DS games (and the 3DS will eventually overtake in decent games), you'd be best getting one of those.

Wish there was that option for your should I buy a 3DS or Vita thread.

@Rol: 3DS' battery life lasts just as long as the DS lite when playing DS games. So there is absolutely no reason to have a DS instead of a 3DS IMO.

I'd say 3DS, but it won't be fair to compare it to the Vita until November or so.

This hopefully won't turn into a Vita vs 3DS thread, I think we should all just use this thread to look down on non dedicated gaming devices like the iPhone and tablets.

It will obviously be the Vita or the 3DS for me. The Vita still hasn't come out yet and the selection of games is fairly small at the moment, the 3DS has some pretty poor hardware and design choices, but it also has a decent library of games, especially smaller bite-size games.

...So I'll call it a draw between the reasonably priced, superior, dedicated gaming machines.

Yeah you're definetely right lol. I've been wanting to ask this question for a while, so when I was granted the ability to make threads I made this one (and another one) right away.
