Ha! I clicked on this thread to say exactly this. Seriously though, best handheld ever.... game library, form factor, battery life, it was a greta little console.

Why care for the hardware. Vita is probably the best one but the library, so far, is not as compelling as the 3DS or the iPad. I hope the Vita's library will mature in a nice way but so far, I didn't find much to justify the high price of the console and games.

If course it doesn't few systems ever do at launch. I got the 3DS at launch mostly for SFIV cause I didn't own an HD console. I'm glad I made the purchase cause now I have 20 classic games that I enjoy, and the price was already right for me :D
So yeah, give the Vita time ;)
I haven't spent significant time with any of those but from first impressions alone I'd have to say 3DS, by quite a bit (bear in mind, I haven't really tried the Vita at all).
I should also mention that I'm not a fan of handheld gaming at all.

Oh yeah man! The built in backlight is key. I can play pokemon yellow in the dark!
