2 68,842/339,548
1 74,382/413,930

ME3 still storming ahead.

Don't get me wrong, ME is probably my favorite series this gen, but these preorders seem kinda wrong. Either their first week numbers will be actually lower than preorders or we'll have it as, say, 2nd most selling game for the month and it will show on NPD as 7th or something =/

Mass Effect 2 will be the best selling game of that month.

Has anyone an idea how Halo 4 preorders compare to Gears 3?

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

- George Orwell, ‘1984’

A fair few games on that list just look off.

And I hope ME3 is overtracked by obout 600k.

Overall pretty boring...

and I am extremely surprised that FF has these pre-orders after the first game disappointed and the demo was bloody awful.

I'll wait and see the sales numbers from NPD before I comment further.

Will the first week be included in the Jan or Feb NPD data?

Surprised to see Soul Calibur releasing already. I don't think Namco Bandai has done a great job telling people.

Okay so Twisted Metal is pretty depressing. Gosh come on TM! What is first week looking like at this point? Anyone good with sales predictions? (*in walks CGI*)

Were you expecting double?

I'd say it's doing what it should, similar to Infamous 2 which opened slightly above 200k in the US.

cant be compared... we dont know the Halo 4 launch date.

If we base it of the average release date(s) for previous Halo games this (and the previous) gen, it's ahead of Gears of War 3, but you're right, seeing how we currently don't have a release date for Halo 4 ( ) it's hard to compare.
