Forums - General - What's the hottest day you've been through?

100 degrees Fahrenheit, ~ 38 degrees Celsius, it actually got up to ~ 41 degrees Celsius that day but I didn't take a screenshot.

So are you from the West then? I used to stay the summer in Palm Springs, Cannot remember the road but it was right next to the Thrifty. Only one on the North side closest to the Dinosaur park that you saw in the movie Wizard.

I was wondering because when you make that drive from the West to the East and first feel that humidity, it is a very strange feeling! Or did you move in the Winter?

Yep! I grew up in Orange County, California (nothing like that T.V. show haha). And I know exactly what you're talking about with those Dinosaurs. I loved those things when I was a kid.

And I moved to Charlotte almost seven years ago during July... so it was as humid as it could be. Started sweating right when we left the airport. Heck, even the spring is awful thanks to all that pollen (I seriously left my car to go to work, and when I came back 7 hours later it had a green tint as it was covered with pollen). I didn't have any allergy issues when in Cali... but I was absolutely miserable during my first few years in Charlotte.

When I was in Venice some 8 years ago or so, it was about 40C in the shade. Thankfully Venice is such an awsome place so the heat wasn't unbearable but I did jump between the shady spots like a ninja.

I remember about 7 or 8 years ago, I was driving around with my dad to pick up an inflatable swimming pool. The car thermometer was reading about 38.5 Celsius for most of the journey, when we parked up at this farm to load the swimming pool into the boot it rose up to 40 Celsius for a few minutes. The heat was unbearable. I also fainted later on in the day because I walked into a greenhouse.

Pretty cold up here. I guess that one day i remember last summer with about 35 Celsius. It's probably been hotter at some point but I don't really care to check the actual degrees lol.

The hottest I ever remember it being is 111 degrees (or 44 C for those still using that backwards way of telling temperature )here in Minnesota and what made is so unbearably bad is the wretched humidity.

Right now though it's 20 degrees (-7 C) because it's winter and a couple of days ago it was -10 (-23 C) with a windchill of -30 (-34 C). Going out in that is pure hell and I would take the blistering heat with horrid humidity any day over that type of cold.

Once in Athens 41C. That was unbearable, I love my 10C~15C

I've lived in or around Tucson, Arizona my whole life.

EVERY summer temps get up to 115F to 120F (46C to 49C).

I am currently strongly considering moving to UAE for at least a few years. Meh, these temps don't bother me. This is why we have AC and beaches.

Somewhere between 100-110*F

I've been in 117°F dry heat, which isn't too bad. The ground burns like hell though. And also, I've been in 99°F with 99.9% humidity which is horrible because there are parts of you that you swear has never sweat before, now sweats. You would be taking a cold shower and you still feel sweat. It's ridiculous.
