MS definitely has had a good year in the profit department.  I'm hoping Sony can get its act together in 2012 so it can start posting some profits again.  I think its been a little over a year since they reported a profitable quarter.

Eh, pezus is a good man and would admit he was wrong (if he was). You on the other hand blindly ignore facts, don't really have any respect for you so won't apologise.

How sad.  Wish I cared, though.

Good to see microsoft report enormous profit as usual. If only sony would charge for PSN membership and they might be in profit too.

MS used 1st weeks of January shipments when they announced at CES. Xbox passed 66M in January yes but not in December.

we can do that, but then we'd have to call shipments "sold to retailers" and what VGC tracks "sold to consumers"

Easier to just call them shipped and sold.  I'm sure MS calls it sold, shipped, w/e, but it's usually easier round here to go with Shipped.

edit: seems I answered the wrong question, but I thinkthe post is meaningful regardless so I'll leave it.
