Mirai Nikki is nothing like Death Note...what gave you that idea?

Ah.. Come on! A God give a tool to the protagonist to entertain him self.. the diference is he give it to more people and is a more modern tool XD

I know the characters a plot is a little diferent.. but idea is very similar.. at leats at the begining...

Deus didn't give everyone the diaries to entertain himself. He did it to find a worthy successor since he's dying. Even in the beginning it's incredibly different. Not to mention the protagonists in both end up using their tool for completely different reasons.

I don't  know.. I still feel that Death Note aura arround the series... I will watch it, but is not my priority... more interesting was that psycothic girlfriend that have the protagonist..

And I began to watch Korewa Zombie deska of the dead.. and is really fun... is more comedy than the first season...

Uuchiu kyoudai seems gret until now.. after two episodes watched..

And nyaruko.. I don't know.. the characters looks fun.. but sometimes is too much wierd.. I have enough weirdism with Korewazombie...

I'm thinking you pretty much HAVE to watch Eureka Seven before Ao at this point. You will lose out on so much.

As far as which series to start, I pick none of the above. No reason to start a long running series when there are hundreds of great shows (12-26 episodes) that I know you have not seen. My two cents anyways.

What about the special? Does it do a good job covering the original story? I watched Eureka Seven so long ago that I barely remember anything and it'd be great if I didn't have to rewatch 50 episodes lol.

Well I think it won't hurt to watch one or two long running series. They ARE pretty entertaining! If you haven't gotten into any of them yet, I seriously recommend trying Gintama at least. It's the latest long running series I've been watching (currently at like episode 212) and I'm in love with it. You're missing out, and I really mean that!

Just finished Fate/Zero (season 1) and Usagi Drop I would give them a 8. Severely disappointed how Usagi Drop manga turned out, they pretty much botched the ending and all the culminations of experiences the "Father & Daughter" had were thrown in the garbage.

Yeah.. the mange ended being "WTF?!" but I still like it... But the anime deserve a 9!

I finished OZMA today.. was good... good (but predictable) story...

The thing is I would of felt better for whole thing if it just showed the consequences of their actions, instead of abruptly ending.

I want to continue in the same vein of slice of life/romance (broadening my horizons) so may just start with Honey and Clover. Can anyone tell me if it is any good?

Any Toriko fans?

The movie is an alternative telling of the same story. It's not a replacement for the TV series.

And I'm 100 episodes into Gintama and I've seen chunks of other long running shounen. Still think the time is better served watching many short series instead.
