Considering that Sony are the leaders of the industry when it comes to innovation, the Vita is quite disappointing. Add in that the biggest title on release is a golf game and you have a major problem.

Ps, BTILC <3

No, the biggest title is Uncharted: Golden Abyss.
Sony gave us a AAA game at launch. Sure it won't appeal to everyone but what game does?

Sales clearly show us that Golf > Uncharted.

dem japanese mang, they like dem sony golf game series. (Although I prefer Mario Tennis)

I think Uncharted will do well in the west more than it does in the East because its obviously a western game.

A lame chess game > Uncharted

I Answer each statemanet yours as Neautras as the excitment for the PSVita let me... So:

1. The Vita looks like another iteration of the PSP - For the general consumer, the Vita is just another revision of the seven year old PSP with a second analog stick being added. They won't see this as justification to pay a premium price, hence why the PS Vita will quickly get the reputation of being an overpriced handheld.

My Answer: And the 3Ds is another release of DS with 3D and One More Stick, So What? Why Change What looks good and works good? And the System is NOT Overpriced, for what pack internal and externally is a GREAT price, Is just that some haters are making Echo of "DOOm" and Claming and begging for a price Cut... althoug I THINK the Accesories and especially the Memory Cards are OverPriced and they should cut those price or at least bundle a 4GB MC with the system..

2. Smartphones - They are growing rapidly in numbers and pose a serious threat to dedicated gaming handhelds. I know what you are going to say: "No self-respecting gamer would ever play without actual buttons." But the only thing that's true is that no self-respecting gamer would ever admit that he plays games without actual buttons. Just like everyone on the internet seems to hate the Call of Duty franchise, but buys every game of the series anyway.

My Answer: So You Think that things like Kinect and touch tablet are the future of the Gaming industry? Go and play those franchise on a Smartphone and Come back here and tell if You have as much Fun as on a Portable Game.. Of Course thatre will be more and complete games on those plataforms but for this generations and Without buttons nothing will happen... Eventually some service like Onlive and Gakai could have their market on mobil tablets and smartphones, but by Now No.

3. Announced Vita games turned into lame games - Unreleased games are simply better. Why? Because when the PS Vita's launch lineup was finalized, you heard it everywhere: "Amazing launch lineup, much better than what the 3DS had." But as soon as Vita's second week sales were in, people were calling for killer apps, better games in general and even a price cut for the hardware.

My Answer:  The 3DS have almost one year on the market and Initially have some games that didn´t "sold consoles"... So until some Big Nintendo Franchise (and with the help of a Price Cut on the Hyper Overpriced 3DS) hit the console thay didn't sell so well as Nintendo hoped.. So the Big N Haters claimed "Nintendo is Doomed" "They will end like SEGA"... Then mario kart and mario 3D land came after the Price cut and Monster Hunter in Japan jus one month before the JAPANESE (ONLY) release of Vita.. The Vita Launch Title ARE the best of a console in so much time, but aren´t  console seller, or at least in japan not. Uncharted, Marvel vs Capcom 3, Blazblue, Katamari, Ridge Racer, Dinasty Warrior (Musou), etc... are goods and grest franchises but in japan aren´t "Console Seller Apps"... So Until those Console seller Apps come, To the Vita will continue to come good and great games, so when people buy a Vita with a Console Seller App will have a lot a great (and hopefully already chep) games to choose. The Wester n Release is just Wait and See, I think it will do good, uncharted and other games can do better on that markets.

4. No second pair of shoulder buttons - One of the main complaints about the PSP was the lack of a second analog stick which made it troublesome to port home console games on the portable. While this issue has been fixed (although it caused a new issue, see reason #1), the Vita still fails to offer all the same control inputs as a regular controller for home consoles. You could say that the Vita's rear touchpad can simulate the missing pair of shoulder buttons, but honestly, this point is moot, because no self-respecting gamer would ever play without actual buttons.

My Answer: So you're saying on Number 2 that people aren't playing with buttons anymore and now say that people are requiring more buttons? That make not sense and is contradictory, isn't it? The Vita doesn't have L3, R3, L2 and R2 buttons, but have the Rear Touch panle and the front touch screen, so there are options... On modern Gaming Two Analog Sticks have become a RULE, especially on Shooters and third person Adventure games.. but the lack of some buttons can be supplied easily with those touch options, or not? Or You want is a DualShock 3 With Touch Screen and Phone priced games?

5. No stereoscopic 3D - Probably Sony's biggest mistake when they designed the Vita and they will have to pay dearly for it. In only its second week on the market, the Vita was being outsold 7:1 by the 3DS already. Now Sony is behind the times with their technologically inferior handheld.

My Answer: Yeah, probably, or probably not. Was the 3DS selling so much before the Price Cut? The Answer is NOT. yeah, in Japan the 3DS sold better than the Vita in it's initial weeks but not as good as Nintendo and the Industry expected considering the succes of the DS... The Vita is already packed with a notablelly powerful hardware and spec.. is less impressive without 3D, if Sony should have include 3D screen on it's Vita the Sony haters shoul have complaining about two things: 1rst. Sony coping Nintendo Again. 2nd. The Battery running less than actually does rigth now...

And Yeah! a lot of people are buying 3Ds rigth now... but come by this tread and read that actually most of people tunr off the 3D ( http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=138781&page=1# ) Why people would buy something that wouldn´t use? The people are buying the 3Ds  rigth now because the GAMES and only THAT..
