Nevermind... I saw that in ethomaz's post and I thought that was a recent quote fron Sony, but he was talking of something else.

So yeah, that article sounds like it's talking of November, but the wording is weird (why say Novermber to December instead of just saying November?)

So MCV says Sony estimates 6.5m, and we have it at 4.6m for the same time period.

So, Sony has overshipped by 2m. How many were already on the shelves at that point, I wonder? 1? 2? It's usually around 2, so we're looking at say 3.5 million on shelves? Can someone clear this up for me?

Ok, wasn't sure that was right or not.  Thanks for the link.

After reading that, I think they are talking retail sales, as they would know exact number of how many PS3's they have shipped and wouldn't have to estimate.
