Asking on d21lewis' and some others behalf. Is your mother hot?

Really man? Your hitting on a 49 year old Woman! That's pretty darn sad. Well unless you and some others who are asking are above 50.

By the way, anyone else have issues with the Wiimote not staying properly calibrated? When I say that I am talking about the pointer not being consistent.

For example, sometimes when I enter the map I can't aim at the center of the screen.

Other times the Wiimote doesn't follow my motions properly. Like when I was flying, I would tilt the Wiimote up, yet my bird wouldn't fly upwards but rather continued going forward or instead decided to descend.

Whenever I have any of these issues I have to recalibrate to get it back to full working order.

I had the same problem, but I don't think it has to do with the Wiimote needing recalibrated.

It doesn't use the IR sensor for pointing. When you go into something that requires pointer aiming, whatever position the Wiimote's in becomes the default "center" position. So if you're pointing directly at the screen it's correctly synched, but if you're holding it at some other angle it's completely off. After I figured that out I stopped having problems.

I don't know why they decided to do it like that since the IR sensor works fine. Everything else works great though, and I really can't go back to traditional controls now.

This. I have the game and never had to re-calibrate,  just center the pointer when i had my wiimote pointing to anywhere. And if you press down on the D-pad that solves the issue without any problem. For the kart riding, i had to leave the control on a table and turn it there, because i always moved and that made me fall down.

I also didn't have any lag in the game. Some frame drops, but i believed it was my wii since i have to clean it's disc-laser

When did I hit on her?

And what's wrong with hitting on a 49 yrs old?

So one persons opinion makes up your mind?  Thje game is amazing and controls beautifully.  I can't imagine playing Zelda any other way after Skyward Sword.  Just give it a try.

Read the OP.

Considering the fact that I never looked ay mom that way, I would find it very difficult to answer that question for you, lol.

Sorry pal but she complained that those controls were too small, even for her small hands.

She's just saying that so she can keep the game for herself. But don't worry, she got a tight grip on the ol' Mastersword I'll say!

I've been playing Zelda since the original and everything in between as well...and I have not had any problems with the motion control in Skyward Sword.  I think it is well implemented and very precise.  Sure I have recalibrated it here and there, but never often enough that it disturbed gameplay during 30 hours in.

Getting past the tutorial, 35 minutes into the game and not being able to fly a bird or float down to the landing on the first try is not a reason to judge a game or its controls.  Imagine that, theres a learning curve.

ALRIGHT! SHE DID IT!!!!

She said her problem was that she was trying to catch the bird icon above the bird and not the bird itself, LMFAO!

Anyways she is relaxed now.

What an awesome time I just had. Seriously made my day.

You just wasted my time yesterday.
