Was watching TV yesterday and left the room for  a minute, and when i came back the TV was on channel 666, cos my fat dog was sitting on the remote.......

Oh man I've got one but no time to write it now. I'm posting here to save me a spot and I'll edit it in.

I saw a dark shadow figure ghost on New Year's Eve a few years back when I was chilling with a friend in the car smoking weed. Our hair on the back of our necks, arms, etc was standing up from the tension / electrical energy. Then while we were starting to have an uneasy feeling about the shadow figure at the bottom of the cul de sac a young girl who was glowing white appeared in the driveway of the house where the shadow figure was near. She pretty much looked like an angel and just floated from left to right for a minute or so before going. Basically, I believe she came out to ward off the dark shadow figure even though I don't think shadow figure was too terrible. I don't really believe in ghosts and even to this day I only admit to the story most of the times if I have a few drinks in me. I saw something that night and it wasn't drug induced considering I've done plenty of hallucinogens before.

Did your friend see the same thing as you?

Yes, and usually when we drink heavy together the topic is brought up (usually by him).  He pretty much states everything that I experienced.  He is more willing to tell everyone about it but I am still a semi skeptic.  I suppose I'd have to see her again to put all doubts aside (even though I really don't have as much doubts as I lead most to believe).  We were going to go back this New Year's Eve but didn't get a chance.  I suppose next year if I am still in Austin I will go back to my parent's cul de sac on New Year's Eve and see if anything happens again.

Anyway, here is my story.

My family has a house on Cape Cod, and I guess its been in a book about haunted houses on the Cape. The previous owners said that sometimes they would go up into the attic and their stuff had been moved around, they would move it back, and then later it would be switched again.  Pretty much the attic was the creepy place to watch out for.

So a few Christmases ago, my entire family went to that house to spend Christmas Eve and sleep over until Christmas Day. We are having a great time, but eventually my little cousin needs to go to bed, because shes like 6 at the time. Since there were a whole lot of people in the house my little cousin had to sleep in a different room...a room that had a door in it...a door that has stairs behind it that go to the attic. So my Aunt puts her to bed and comes down, we continue to party.

A little while later my little cousin comes back downstairs and my Aunt asks her "Honey why are you out of bed?"
and my little cousin replys "It was making noises, I heard scratching". Everyone is like "wtf is she talking about". My aunt goes up to investigate and on her way up the stairs she said it got really cold and she wasn't sure why. The cold is coming from the bedroom my cousin was sleeping in. My Aunt goes in, turns on the light, and the door that leads to the attic is wide open.

My little cousin insists she didn't open it, and I believe her because what 6 year old goes over and opens a dark creepy door that is making noises. Nothing else has really happened out of the ordinary there, but that was a creepy experience.
