Now I think ME3 is going to start falling behind in 2 weeks when ME2 started doing the 30k a week numbers.

Hope Halo 4 can continue with the great numbers.

Depends, ME3 only has 88K further to go before it passes ME2's total. Should still clear ME2's total within 3-5 weeks, and pre-orders will pick up again.

Halo 4 currently is opening the gap even wider between it's pre-orders versus those from Halo: Reach. *Based on what I checked with all the numbers we collected*

Now look at your link again with that in mind. I think fighting games get more preorders on PS3 because maybe there are more hardcore fighting game fans there but there are many more people with 360's so the more casual players sometimes give 360 fighters the edge.

Yeah ME3 will fly past the total pre-orders for ME2 in a few weeks but I think it will doing less than 30k pre-orders a week for the first few weeks before it catches up and starts getting pre-orders on par.

I'm  not sure, I'll check and update this post in 5 minutes mate.

Update:

If my estimation of release date is correct within ~2 weeks, it should look like this:

  • Halo 4: 158,844
  • Gears of War 3: 94,945 (At the same stage)

If Halo 4 can keep the momentum, it will have a big shot at crossing 3M sales in Week 1. (Worldwide)

I don't what you guys are on about, the pre-orders for Xenoblade Chronicles alone are to me exciting. Having had the game since August, I'm glad that people in the US can now play it without importing, the best RPG since Skies of Arcadia IMO.
