Well if Vgchartz is trying to be IGN, I'd definitely love to see some movie reviews.

Also, I never argued that The World is Not Enough isn't one of the worst Bond movies ever. Only that Denise Richards had amazing boobies.

I don't know about turning VGChartz into IGN.  I just figured that since there's a movie discussion section, that it's time to help get it going.

Sorry about the misunderstanding.  I agree with you about both TWINE and Denise Richard's boobies.  They could have found a much better actress with just as nice of a rack though.  That's my beef...

It's hard to disagree with those saying that Die Another Day is the worst Bond movie ever. Pretty much everything about it is bad. The thing is that I actually enjoy it a lot more than TWINE. Why? It would work really well as an episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000. I always chuckle through the entire thing. I get no such enjoyment from The World is Not Enough.

If you don't like Die Another Day, then how do you justify liking Moonraker? Or do you?

Anyway, on the statement about On Her Majesties Secret Service starring Connery being the best, I think I can agree with that statement as far as acceptance from the mainstream audience goes; I think it would be almost universally accepted as such; although it is actually my favourite Bond movie already without him.

The truth is that if On Her Majesty's Secret Service starred Sean Connery, it would be the greatest Bond film of all. As it is though, I would have to go with Goldfinger.

By the way guys, The World Is Not Enough is the worst Bond film ever made. It makes A View To A Kill look like From Russia, With Love. The story is mediocre, Robert Carlyle and Sophie Marceau are wasted, the soundtrack sucks, the action scenes are all poorly done except for the pre-credits teaser (speaking of which, it has that scene where the helicopters with saws cut Zukovsky's caviar factory to ribbons *ugh*), it has a million horrible one liners, and Denise Richards as a nuclear physicist has to be one of the worst casting decisions ever.

This reminds me that I have to stop being so damned lazy and start reviewing all of these movies like I said that I would to like two or three people...

I disagree. Giant sun laser and invisible car make Die Another Day the worst James Bond film, closely followed by The World is Not Enough and Moonraker.

My favourite Bond film ever though is From Russia With Love, which is really in my opinion James Bond stripped right down to its core.

While you can argue their qualities as actors, there's no question that Brosnan and Moore produced many of the worst Bond movies. Both of them seemed to have a penchant for creating very ridiculous, cheesy scenes.

I do not like Moonraker much at all (the worst Roger Moore movie IMO).  Despite several things being wrong with it, the worst part about it was what they did with Jaws at the end.  Ironically, it's sandwiched in between my two favorite Moore Bond films.

OHMSS really is a great movie in every way and I actually didn't mind Lazenby's portrayal of Bond.  It's just that he had a near impossible act to follow (Connery).  I actually think that Lazenby could have been a very good Bond if he continued in the series for the next several movies.

amp316 - I agree completely!

Anyway, speaking of Bond: Ralph Fiennes - who just might be the best actor in the world at portraying a villain - is rumoured to be playing Blofeld!

I am glad they took their time with this Bond film, it means it is probably going to be very good.
