yea, but it launched at 59.99 instead of 49.99 for pc. I'm going to hold out for a cheaper price on that one. I do want the game though

especially to us Austrailian/New Zealanders where it is still far more expensive than USA launch price...

Well, i've got no complaints. I just won the Frozenbyte collection So that's 3 games right there. Got to buy E.Y.E for super cheap, got a fourpack so i could gift my friend for X-mas and traded one of the extra copies for Binding of Isaac. Throw in Fortress of Avadon, Orcs must Die and Dungeons i've added to my backlog of games for super cheap.

And i've still got plenty of more contest games I already own.

Not sure if I want to cash those in or see if I can combine the Frozenbite pack with my last Eye Spare copy and Xeno Clash (also won, but i own alraedy), and see if I can get something else together to try and trade for Might and Magic Heroes 6

Wow. Just one Game of Thrones. I've been extremely lucky. Wonder if it's any good? It's an achievement game in any case.

Never seen or read either, who knows, was free in anycase.

I ended up getting a coupon, but i mean, hey I think about it this way.  Steam has 4 Million users on at one time... the amount of coal probably involved in this contest is huge... with only like 1,500 prizes?

When you get an achivement you have a 75% chance of getting coal.  When crafting you can't get coal.

I'd assumed that the coupon to game ratio was also 75% just because i feel like that's how valve would role, but on the otherhand i've "won" 4 coupons and 3 games.

Your more likely then not to be disapointed i'd bet, but it's a better shot at winning a game then anythign else in the contest.

EDIT: Well outside of trolling the Steam trading forum and buying games with coal.

Oh, so I probably should have started playing HL:Source then, damn... I'm already a few hours into HL, not gonna start again.

So from what I understand of it.
Half-Life is the first game, which is extended with a couple of extra parts (Blue Shift and Opposing Force)
Half-Life 2 is the second game, which has 3 extra parts (Episode 1, Episode 2 and Lost Coast)

Then there is Half-Life: Source which is just an upgraded version of the original game (Is the Source engine the one they used in HL2? also does this version have Blue Shift and Opposing Force added into it as well, or is it just the original?)

And I also got Half-Life Deathmatch: Source, which will be the multiplayer portion of the original game (I didn't get a non-source version... was there not a MP part originally? or did they just not bother putting it in the pack?)
And Half-Life 2: Deathmatch, the MP part of HL2.

I still have a couple of questions though:
1. Which if the extra episodes for Half Life is meant to come first? (BS or OF)
2. Just read someone mentioned HL2: Ep 3 isn't released, or may even just end up being HL3... in which case what is Half-Life 2: Lost Coast?
3. As asked above, are Blue Shift and Opposing Force added into Half-Life: Source? because if they are then I might stop my playthrough of Half-Life and just do Half-Life: Source.

(Oh, also got Team Fortress Classic in the pack, but I don't have any questions about that, unless I am missing something and TF is related to HL)

Any idea if it's possible to trade with browser steam or do you need the app? I can't seem to find the option or an Faa :-/

Opposing Force first then Blue Shift, but they weren't made by valve (Gearbox) so you could probably ignore them.

Lost coast is a tech demo for the source engine which was cut from HL2

As far as I know Source is just the vinila game

There is also a mod project for HL2 that aims to fully recreate the first game with brand new assets, but who knows when that will be released
