The first two, I was in their B&M stores as well yesterday.

 

Anyway, since I was mainly planning on using the Vita for videos and stuff like that(not games) I decided to buy a used Ipad 1 instead. I got a used 64gb ipad wifi/3g model for less than the price of a wifi Vita and 16gb sony card, or about the same price as the 3g Vita with no memory card. I still might sell my PSP though, depends on if I get a psp game for christmas or not.

How are these bad sales. PSP release was half that amount, which means, PSP brand has grown 100%. It may never pan out to be double psp's lifetime sales, but it's on its way to at least a thirty percent increase.

Didn't the PSP only have 1 day of sales for their "first week" as opposed to 2 for the Vita.

I honestly don't know.

What I do know it that first day tends to be the much heavier day, so the psp mightve been 250 or something. I'm at work so I can't really go around looking up websites for the first 2 days.

All I know for sure is that famitsu said it doubled psp's opening. I don't know if they would intentionally make themselves look stupid.

I seriously had little interest in the Vita until I tried out the test unit at the store and I saw how nice the screen was. I had been thinking about picking up an ipod touch, but the Vita seemed better with that nice OLED screen. The 32gb ipod touch is pretty much the same price as the wifi Vita. Then I had to take into account that the Vita has no memory included so to get up to that same 32gb, I'd have to add another 8000-9000 yen to the price.

It was then that I noticed used Ipad 1's are pretty cheap (compared to the Ipad 2) and the store I bought it from was having a sale for just over 30,000 yen for the 64gb Ipad 1 wifi/3g model. Since I was just going to replace my psp with the Vita and not really use it for games. I decided to go with the Ipad as it was cheaper than the Vita with 32gb card as well as a new 64gb Ipod Touch.

i think in japan they don'tlook so much at graphics (maybe i'm wrong with this) so i don't wonder 3ds sold better but i think in europe and usa many people look at graphics and there the vita could sell very good.

and omg, the game gear was huge haha
