PS3 up 22% in German... seems like 390k for EMEAA this week.

NA: 300k
EMEAA: 390k
JP: 44k

Global: 730k??? GREAT.

Is it me or were 360 & PS3 WW both adjusted down slightly for the week ending 03d Dec? I thought it was 695K vs 596K first?

PS3: 596,659 -> 588,757
360: 695,556 -> 679,966

If I'm not wrong... UK numbers last week was wrong with 360 over 70k and in fact all consoles sold less than DS (70k)... that's the diff.

Seems you're right, for the ps3, went from ~56 to ~49.

Xbox 360 went from ~76 to ~68, so it was adjusted elsewhere slightly as well probably.

the wii is very popular here! and they advertise like hell. even my oldest brother bought one for my nephew and he has absolutely no clue about gaming. did never think he will buy a console anytime.

It's so strange to see them sell very low numbers during most of the year and then rocket to the top just because a lot of casuals jump on the name and price.

It's not really that strange really if you think of the Wii's main demographic (still).  It's simply a more gift/holiday centric device which plenty of products are - hence it sells best when the most people are likely to buy it either as a gift for others or for their family.



Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

3DS at 350k in Japan which is unbelievable really. It has a shot at a million this week, probably most certainly will break a million globally.

Finalyl, Globally it looks like the Wii will edge out the PS3. And yet again, JD3 is a monstor performer this Christmas, even dominating the German charts!

The 3DS is guaranteed a million really.

 It's at 350k Japan, 485k USA, 45k Germany and 78k UK. Unless it miraculously manages to sell less than 42k in the rest of the world, it'll pass a million. It looks like it's going to do around 1.3 million to me. Which is pretty brilliant really. Not as brilliant as the DS' peak for the similar week (which is 1.7 million), but more than the DS did this week last year (which was 1.2 million).
