Good, i thought Generals was going to turn into a Gears of War clone for a moment.
I lost interest in C&C around '96 or '97. I preferred Age of Empires, WarCraft and Westwood Studios' own and groundbreaking Dune II. I only liked the first C&C game and today I think the reason why I liked it at all was because it was strongly influenced by Dune II (which I played over and over for several years).
I don't know why but I never cared about the series after C&C 1, no matter how hard I tried to get into it.

the series died after yuri's revenge. Generals was ok, but nothing super special, C&C3 was pretty bad, red alert 3 was bad and C&C 4 was the worst of the series by far.

Amen. I could have written this post.
The game has nothing in common with Bioware.
It is done by same team responsible for C&C 4 failure only now they are part of Bioware studio to stick big brand name to them and try to pretend previous part of C&C didn't happen.

I already said that it's not really Bioware in the thread ; )

I love RTS games. Too bad my old-ass PC wouldn't even be able to handle this on Minimum requirements.
Would be awesome if this was ported to Wii-U though. It's the only gaming system I plan to get in the near future and that controller would totally play RTS games well (unlike previous consoles).
Cool stuff, might be interested in the future. Btw, why would anyone would be interested in a RTS game on a console?

Becouse console fanboys want to have all pc oriented genres ruined ;)
But as history shows us they are only a vocal forum minority since sales numbers never support it.
