OT: I love zombies and I love naughty dog so this was the best news for me for the entire year. I know naughty dog will make a great game and this is my most anticipated game of 2012 for me. My mind wasn't blown but I am certainly shocked and very excited for upcoming news.

First thing that popped in my mind. Except the ew part lol I like Ellen.
Whatever your opinion about which is the better game (Uncharted 3 or Skyrim), there can be little doubt that Uncharted 3 is the more polished one. There is no comparison in terms of the number of glitches and bugs present in the two. But hey, trolls be trolling yo.
The trailer for TLOU looks really impressive and if Naughty Dog can employ the same focus on character development and clever script-writing that helped place the Uncharted series among the best of the generation, I've no doubt this new game will kick serious ass.

1. Shes hardly a little girl...come on. The girl seems to be 15 - 17 years old, that age grouping is appropriate for the setting imo. Also on the issue of age rating, based off the trailer i cant see it not being M rated. We see a guy beat up a zombie with a plank, blood is very visible in that sequence. The girl also stabs the one zombie in the back very visual and very vivid, and ofcourse the headshot at the end, with a very clos up camera and blood all over the screen with a little bit of brains :) (a total opposite of how uncharted deals with violence). So i think its safe to say this will be M rated.
2. From the trailer i got the feeling it was third person...almost the entire trailer was in third person. The end bit switches to first more to show off the environment imo.
3. I think its been confirmed by Sony for a 2012 release date, and bearing in mind this is naughty dog and how long the game has been in development, that date seems likely.

Last of Us looks to be a great GOTY canidate. it looks freaking awesome, hopefully its an M game, i want a dark game. and hopefully the main character is the due, and not ellen paige.
