PS3 exclusive RPG Agarest: Generations of War 2 coming to Europe

Has Move compatible Bathtub, Shiatsu and Massage mini-games.

PlayStation 3 exclusive role-playing game Agarest: Generations of War 2 launches in Europe and the US in summer 2012.

The Idea Factory, Compile Heart and Red Entertainment collaboration is localised by Aksys Games and published in PAL regions by Ghostlight.

It is the third game in the strategy series, and follows 2009 game Agarest: Generations of War and August 2011 prequel Record of Agarest War Zero.

Generations of War 2 uses an active grid-based battle system and has PlayStation Move compatible Bathtub, Shiatsu, and Massage mini-games. Yes.

Ghostlight plans a Collector's Edition, which will be unveiled later.

Sounds good. I havent been paying too much attention to rpgs lately and this looks cool.

Pity that the move functionality isnt for the whole game tho. I mean really, whats the point of getting out your move controller just to play some minigames.

Like your post?

Anyway... I was looking at a Japanese version of this game...  I was going to get it for a gift for my friend... until I saw the perverted mini-games.  After we saw that, she said she didn't want it anymore, lol.

You're post in a generic response asking why people like niche Japanese games. Regardless of if it's true to this specific example or not, it's a common bit thrown at these sort of games.

Personally, I like the Agarest series. Gameplay can be a bit tedious with some long drawn out battles, but the stories have been pretty good with a decent amount of variety and choices presented. Not great games, but definitely worth playing if you like VNs or grid-based SRPGs.

You really can't misjudge me for a person not liking niche japanese games,i think you know very well that i love these kind of games, but the Agarest series is just too generic. when i said "These games" i didn't mean SRPGs or JRPGs.

but you also can't deny that they're very generic (according to your post) , and besides, the two games that were released are exactly like each other, they didn't bother improving anything.
