Personally, I like the Agarest series. Gameplay can be a bit tedious with some long drawn out battles, but the stories have been pretty good with a decent amount of variety and choices presented. Not great games, but definitely worth playing if you like VNs or grid-based SRPGs. |
You really can't misjudge me for a person not liking niche japanese games,i think you know very well that i love these kind of games, but the Agarest series is just too generic. when i said "These games" i didn't mean SRPGs or JRPGs.
but you also can't deny that they're very generic (according to your post) , and besides, the two games that were released are exactly like each other, they didn't bother improving anything.
