If one family member wants to play one game that you downloaded, he will have to play on your PSN account. Unless you buy the game twice.

This don't matter for people who:

-have vita and the only person that plays it is him.

-don't care for digital content.

-don't care to buy a game twice.

-don't care if other people plays on your PSN, because he doesn't care for trophies.

For me, that cares for digital content, sharing the Vita with my brother, and trophies. That is bad news for me.

To share with family members or roommates. 

True, but even then I wouldn't consider it any kind of deal breaker when no other dedicated handheld gaming device gives the option either.

Sony wants people to buy more of those memory cards, this is how they're planning to make money with PSVITA even when losing money on the hardware

Well typically why I never share and will never, is because I never want anyone touching my files. I was just answered your question. 

I was going to come in here and say how this was a nice work around for something I never really cared about in the first place, but after seeing all of Prof's posts I really want to say something bad about the Vita. I'll be back when I think of something

Some of you are missing the point with the one PSN account per card.

1) You're forced to buy the expensive card no matter what. That in itself is BS.
2) If you play online games with stats and ish, you don't want to share your PSN with your siblings, etc. You each have your own on the PS3 now, why would you want to combine that? You want to continue your trophy expansion, etc. My sons do this now with Little Big Planet. They all utilize their own PS3 logins and PSN connection for their own identity.

I like Sony's manner of handling online and accounts better than Nintendo or MS for this reason alone. You are able to have distinct identities for your own profile vs forced shared due to cost in MS or simply nonexistent in Nintendo.

This memory card issue, will result in a hardship in cost and time that is simply not necessary. Its a PSN online account where the vital info is really never stored on your local machine but on the Sony's servers, so forcing it to be on unique memory is just not consumer friendly and 100% money grabbing architecture.

Consumer: This is bad.
Shareholder: This is good.

As I said above though, to me the only one that really matters is #1... as for siblings I'd buy separate Vitas anyways. So I'd just be pissed that I am forced to buy overpriced SD cards just because Sony is an asshole.

He's sharing the console and games, not the PSN account trophies and save files. Big difference.
