I confess...I haven't played it.  Got it at release, haven't had time to play it.  Don't feel too bad, though, my backlog of games I own b ut haven't had time to beat is hovering somewhere around 50.  I pick a lot of shit up for super cheap, I get a lot of deals, and being a reviewer for this site has its benefits, some of which is getting games that I don't need to review and having to keep them in my collection for weeks before having time to play.  Case in point: I've had Gears of War 3 since launch, and I just played it for the first time today (Beat it in one sitting, though!  great game, I recommend it).  Everyone I know who played it said it serves as an almost perfect prequel to FFVII, though.

I'm going to Egypt in a few days and I couldn't find Crisis Core, after watching more videos on the internet I cracked and I just had to buy it again, hopefully it arrives on time.

Anyway, I was concerned because I find it similar to FFXIII is all, I still think you will like it. Like the people you mentioned said, it ties in so well with FFVII. It has the best story and characters of any game IMO and the dialogue is great too.

Oh I also love my psp, its great for everything, I have it on me like always.? I can play on the Train, I can listen to music in the car. And the vita will be just for the same but WAY MORE
I dont have, and I dont want a smartphone, vita is perfect

I love my PSP as well and will transit over to PSV in due time (thinking of waiting for the first hardware revision (with built in memory) or memory card prices dropping significantly.

However I truly hope that JRPG outside of Square Enix make it over, one thing that annoyed me so much about PSP is how so many great JRPGs did not make it over.
