PSP is the reason I got to play Final Fantasy VII, so yes, I love it with all my heart.

Being able to play a large library of fantastic PS1 games on the go is the best thing about it in my opinion, and something I am going to do with the Vita too. While the games library is pretty small, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker are absolute gems.

I've got a lot of love for the portables this gen.

I'll get Vita when the slim model is released and it drops down to that ~$169.99 sweet spot with the best exclusives being greatist hits. Can't wait. lol

The psp is pretty awesome. After using the "claw" method on monster hunter so much I'm surprised my fingers still bend the right way. FF: Tactics on psp is the way to go to, lovely art style for the CS's.

sure PSP is great, definitely not just because of Final Fantasy

i played Kingdom Hearts, Little Big Planet, lot of Soul Calibur, Crysis Core Final Fantasy VII, Cyphon Filter, God of War (both), Tekken, lot of Monster Hunter, bit of Metal Gear Solid and GTA

planning to end it with the new Digimon game

played Spyro and Crash on PS1 old times, and they are better than any PSP game

of course PSP is a great system, but definitely not as powerful software as Ds

Yup PSP is cool. I don't play it much anymore (rarely, and if I do, i play PS1 classics) but Vita is a sure buy for me.

PSP is my own personal Sanitorium whenever i go abroad, away in a short term duty, just makes the couple of days of being alone in a foreign country that much sweeter, since i never watch tv and don't bother with internet because of it being short term.

I too like many of you think the PSP is awesome.

Well I like the PSP because...well it is a multimedia device. I have enough room on my memory card for ALL those Final Fantasy games, the others (Castlevania, Vagrant Story, Chrono Trigger) and still have room on there for a day's worth of music, or a couple movies/TV shows, etc. Plus I'm particularly fond of the actual games on the system. So I can't really think of any issues with it. while I admit the best games on DS are better, the PSP more than makes up for it with PS1 classics and various multimedia options.

I do love the 3DS, though, that system is proving to be something special, though I imagine that the PSV will beat it.
