Plenty of variety, no need for more types of meat

Chickens have a very small and primitive Brain. A horse brain is more complex then a chicken brain therefor the suffering is way more developed in a horse. Humans suffer the most because they realize the full extent of suffering and have way more ways to suffer then just pain.

Insects/jellyfish never suffer because they react but dont realize what suffering even is. A suffering chicken is in way less agony then a horse just the neural activities in the brain will show that. So you cant make this equation 100 chicken suffering > Horse suffering. We have no way of measuring agony we only know that the more complex the brain the more complex the process of suffering is.

i don't eat all of this but to say horse shouldn't be eaten but calves should is not very logical.

no we don't need meat. vegetarians are getting i believe ~5 years older than non vegeterians. sure their lifestyle is healthier as well but this just proves that noone needs meat.

it's ok if you don't like to eat horse, i don't do it as well because i like them a lot. but just because i like them more than pigs is really absolutely no reaosn to say nobody should eat horse but everyone should eat pigs.

 

for me i absolutely can understand if people eat dogs if they don't like them or whatever. personally i would only eat it if there was a war or so and this would be the only chance to stay alive but if a chinese likes to eat dog why not? if it's not used as pet like here it's ok.

in peru they eat guinea pigs and here we have them as pets. i would wonder if someone here would eat them but what's the problem if they do it there? they are even stupid like hell so if it comes to that they would have to die first lol

I don't care really. Weird that Obama approved it after promising to ban it forever campaign wise.

It's not like it's the biggest issues that you need to change opinions on... especially since most people are no doubt against it. Horses having a special place in American hearts and all.

As for eating it. Yeah I guess so, i wouldn't activly look for or order it... If I was at someones house for dinner and they served it, I'd eat it though.

I am not against anything. I would eat dolphin in a can if it tastes good.

Had it plenty of times when I was over in Iceland. Just cook it like a steak. Tastes great, rich flavor.

I think I might look to see if I can find a place that sells it here in Ireland.

Horse meat salami is really delicious. But then I prefer dog.
