Why do people want badges to go away? The database badges give you a reason to explore the database further. For eg a person working on critic reviews may try out other things like banners and screenshots.

how do you get badge's? I don't have any.

Only won one thing, and I don't know if I should write home about that since I could have tried aiming for the highest, but didn't.

I also learned how to deal with the DB. Also made a couple of neat friends. Got the DB admin status.

What's wrong with masturbation? It's a natural occurrence. Most people aren't offended, disgusted, or disturbed by the topic. The whole point is that these topics were reserved to a "NSFW" section, except that these threads appear on the front page in the hot topics anyways. If you were hypothetically browsing Vgchartz from work, it wouldn't make a difference.

I had planned on scamming the system during a month with a prize I wanted. Oh well.

Same people won every month, so not really that upset to see it go.
