do not buy it for the ps3.  pick it up for pc when the goty edidtions come out, you'll get all dlc and mods.

lol I have been a laptop guy for years, not buying a gaming laptop or a desktop for a game.

Having a bit more fun now that magic resistances appear to be fixed. But the theives guild is still broke, enemy AI also fails to see me many times when i'm standing right infront of them and i'm even forced to start a convo for them to react. Frame rate is still pretty bad at times.

I now have guards attacking me more often for no reason aswell. Just walked into whiterun and was attacked by a guard, he stopped after a while. As i continued further into the town another guard started to attack me, only this time the towns people came to my defense only to be killed off by the guards. I loaded an old save and the guards went back to normal.

Wow, this game is just packed with massive bugs and faults isn't it? I lost my 60 hour savegame and level 46 character and I just can't build up the enthusiasm to play the game again, there are simply too many annoyances and weaknesses (PC version).

Ugh, I hope that doesn't happen to me. The game scared me to death earlier when I discovered that all three auto-save files had been corrupted and crashed the game when loaded. -_- I have like 30 or so save files but just losing a few hours worth of gameplay would probably make me rage. The amount of crashes and texture failures has increased a lot lately, and I hope that isn't a sign of what's to come...

I had around 300 Skyrim saves that disappeared when my hard-drive was wiped by a virus... Lost all pictures, savegames and documents of all kind. Luckily, all my writings were on a drive I had not yet installed into the new rig, that would have cost me over a decade of work! From now on, I'm taking copies left and right just to be sure (I used to have my documents on four different hard-drives but the virus attacked both installed drives so this would not have helped).

In total, I counted through my Steam catalogue and found that I lost 310 hours worth of playtime in savegames and probably another 200 from games outside of Steam.

Anyways, I just cannot bring myself to start Skyrim all over again, I shudder at the tedium of having to do all those quests all over again, watching scripted sequences I can't skip and, of course, leveling my character back up to 46 is going to take long, long time.

It shouldn't, not sure how his issue occurred, but I've got 170 hours into the game on PC, 97% of the achievements, and well...virtually everything done except Thief, Wanted and Master Criminal (I'm a caster, so didn't spend the majority of the game pick-pocketing).  Really haven't run into any bugs/glitches that I couldn't fix with the ~ command console.  Yes, there are some quests that are kinda spotty, and some quest items that don't properly clean themselves up.  But, as I said, easily fixed w/ the command console.
