Ugh, I hope that doesn't happen to me. 
The game scared me to death earlier when I discovered that all three auto-save files had been corrupted and crashed the game when loaded. -_- I have like 30 or so save files but just losing a few hours worth of gameplay would probably make me rage. The amount of crashes and texture failures has increased a lot lately, and I hope that isn't a sign of what's to come...
