I abused the Oghma Infinium glitch before the patch went live this morning. Sorry, but I was 75 hours in and only level 33... so something had to give. (Now I'm level 55... so it's not that bad...)

To be honest this is one of the first games I've experienced with this kind of technical issues (first Bethesda game...). And in a game like this, where Skyrim's numerous details and intricacies really make the world come alive, these small bugs and glitches also do their part to hurt the overall experience. There's many times where I find Skyrim to be frustrating, not because it's a poor game. Oh no, it's a great game that I've spent hours and hours with... but it's frustrating in how the scope and the reach of the game is so huge, that there's a lot of heart put into this game... but there's still things that hold it back for me. But hey... that's what sequels are for I suppose.

What the fuck did they do to the magic in the game? My 400 HP Nord gets two-shotted by an Ascent Conjurer or Fire Wizard pretty easily now on Expert >_>.

I mean, I have 50% Frost Resistance, overall 50% Magic Resistance and it seems like it's not there at all. Damn them.

Not sure what version you are playing, but a friend of mine at work has the 360 version and he says that all the resistances are screwed up. He says it is like resistances do not exist at all and because of it the Nord class at the moment is basically worthless. Makes me wonder if it kills my resistances now as an Argonian Werewolf. 

I haven't updated yet and I doubt I will now.

Skyrim is great, don't get me wrong, but something like this should never be allowed to grab perfect scores.

The PC one, but it seems to be affecting every version. It's an overall patch 1.2 problem, which didn't happen before. Heck, you can kill elemental atronarchs with their own elements when they were immune to it before. Resistances are non-existant now, and it makes the final battle a bitch on higher difficulties because it's breath attack cuts through your HP bar like a hot knife on butter and there's nothing you can do about that >_>.

I'll only play it again after this issue has been dealt with. I can handle bugs, glitches and whatnots, but fuck them for messing up one of the basic gameplay concepts when it was good when the game released >_>.

How could they release a patch which such a bug? I hope they release a small patch rapidly to fix that (days). It doesnt make sense.

Well since they still haven't acknowledge anything wrong with the 1.2 version, I would say that it will take more than just a few days for them to fix it. 

T_T I'm fighting all elemental mages....I WANT MY RESISTANCES BACK!

I play the PC version, and I'm roughly 40 hours in now. I have yet to encounter a single glitch or bug.

Maybe I'm not playing the game right. xD
