OMG! You ARE Arthur!
“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

There is definitely more filler in this game than Naruto, as Naruto does not play a role in the Zelda universe.

Lolz you actually fell for this pessimistic crap. Lamest trick in the book. I could make a hundred things i hated about LTTP/OOT/MM thread if I wanted with completely "valid" points and make it sound like the worst games ever.
Starting the list for LTTP:
1.) Searching for the secret passage to the castle is utterly pointless and filler.
2.) Zelda keeps giving you the same advice to every minute to get into Castle, pausing the game and disrupting the flow of the opening sequence..
3.) .....The advice isn't even helpful. Just says there is a secret passage somewhere
4.) Whats even worst is that the passage in hidden stupidly under some ordinary bush, basically had to lawn mow the castle to find it, and by accident.
5.) Link's dad is the lamest character, couldn't even make it 3 feet through the passage.
6.) Because of the pointless tasks above, it takes way longer to obtain your sword than the original.
7.) It doesn't really matter anyhow because the sword-play is basically the same as the orginal
8.) Some guards attack you, some completely ignores your presence. Stupid inconsistencies had me confused.
9.) Finally finding Zelda felt link a boring chore, because the castle layout was so lame and bland and the first boss was a push-over.
10.) And which rewards you with some annoying escort mission in the dark.
Look I already on ten I'm not even finished with the first castle.

Very true. You could do this for EVERY game and come up with at least 50 bad things like this, and guess what? Most of them will be nonsense or incredibly similar, like Rol's. for example, he mentions the thunderhead several times.
Effectively, all he's done is laid out the course of the game for you. Well done. The game certainly isn't perfect, but it's nowhere near as bad as you're letting it on to be...Now actually try next time Rol, please.
(I look forward to your VGC thread, though

lol, I didn't "fall for this" I made these experiences myself before even reading the thread. I never said that I think SS is bad, not at all actually. It's just not perfect, and not my favourite Zelda game, nothing more.

The Thunder Cloud is annoying, because you just go there to get one thing and then have to return. Several times. The things I listed are bad, because they are mostly boring. The first time you play through the game you might not perceive these tasks as such (although some people certainly do), but it becomes more obvious on additional playthroughs how much of a filler plenty of these things are. I know that ALttP list is meant to be over the top, but it's just silly. Nobody would agree with these points, but people do agree with at least a good chunk, if not the vast majority, of my list. We can put it to the test, if you want. I'll counter these ten ALttP points and you can try to do the same with (parts of) my list.

Alright.
1. No cutscene is really over a couple minutes anyway, and most of the cutscenes give you clues of your next location or what you need to do next. Skipping cutscenes would make the game feel out-of-context and you may be thrown into something with no idea of where to go next. Regardless, they're only a few minutes long, and fairly infrequent after the introduction.
2. It is an issue that you can't skip cutscenes in the second playthrough, granted. But again, they're so short that it can be ignored.
3. Press A to speed it up, then. It's still a bit slow, and options to change it would be nice, but it's your opinion and nothing wrong with the game itself.
4. OH NO! You couldn't in any other Zelda game, why should it be different here? The stamina gauge also decreases at half the speed, so again it's a non-issue and is more personal preference than an actual issue with the game. And if it's something you 'hate', then obviously you have your standards set way too high.
5. See above
6&7. I've only ever met one or two people who I've had to talk to, and then it was very breif and for the story more than anything. So it never really bothered me. Again, opinion.
8. The cat collecting thing is just an introduction to the control scheme and the stamina gauge more than anything. It was the same in TP, and WW, and OoT to a lesser extent. It eases you into the game gently without leaving you confused as to what to do, and there's plenty of other chances to get rupees. So it's no issue really.
9. The introduction is fairly short and sets the scene for an otherwise far more story-oriented Zelda game. For someone who likes Other M, I'm surprised this annoyed you. Again, no cutscene lasts more than a couple minutes anyway.
10. Agreed. She does give you too many forced tips.
Looking through the list, I agree with 10, 20, 35, 40 and 46. The rest seem just nitpicky, and even these issues aren't game-breakers to me. The game is amazing overall, and is quite possibly my favourite Zelda. It may not be perfect, but every game has some faults...just not as many as you say.
