How can Developers think this is okay to do?

You should probably be blaming the publishing side of things rather than the developing side.

I can see why they did it though, they only have to sell one game to be profitable.

lulz, I did mean that.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

I just checked the price of the iphone version DLC

course pack 3 tracks + 3 mirrored: € 2.39 / $ 2.99
class 5 machine pack (9 cars) € 1,59 / $ 1.99

I don't really have a problem with the business model, but I really have a problem with the pricing ...

Based on the cost of most games, $10 should buy you about 10% to 20% of the content that is delivered in a full retail game. If they were charging $10 for 3 tracks and 5 cars I could see the appeal, but $5 per track and $3 per car is outrageous.

I like the principal, and I love seeing publishers breaking away from the old distribution models, but that seems like awfully little content at that price...

IF the game was sold for 10-20$ at start then such pricing and DLC scheme could be justified and interesting experiment.

With almost full game price it's only rip-off :(

That's very little content for a lot of money...I hope this fails.

Don't forget about the music... at $1.29 they are more expensive than iTunes and Amazon for a song... xD
