Pokemon Announcement Likely For Jump Festa

Pokemon will have its first Jump Festa showing this year, and it looks like we can expect some sort of announcement. The latest issue of Jump has a blurb for the upcoming event which says "Pokemon makes first appearance at JF!! Surprising information on the show floor?" The blurb also teases that a "big surprise" awaits in the Pokemon booth.

This year's Jump Festa will be held on December 17th and 18th at Makuhari Messe.

Most probably a 3DS game imo. Could it be the new gen pokemon game? Or will it be Pokemon Gray.. Thoughts?

Let us hope it'll be Pokemon Grey for 3DS, recent moves from Nintendo like registering a website named after Grey hint directly at it.

Anyone thinking that it'll be gen 6 is misguided, there's no way, thats not how pokemon works. They still have 3 pokemon, Genesect, Keldeo and Meloetta in the game's coding that they haven't even officially announced yet for this gen. The anime itself isn't even halfway through B/W and we all know a new gen=start of new anime season. Plus there's still a LOT left of gen 5 to harness with a remastered version. Not to mention people have just started to master the mechanic changes in the games for competitive play.

But yeah, this is FRIGGIN exciting, any new pokemon news is to me. Pokemon is very likely going to be the single game that makes me buy a 3DS.
