I'd like you to tell me how my statement was a lie.

My memory is a little hazy but didnt they give Twilight Princess some low 8 score because a text box pops up when you read a sign? They even admitted to playing it for only an hour? Anyway after that I havent set foot on GameSpot, they're clearly just trying to "shock" people to get hits.

Great stuff and enlightening. Still not sure why people are so outraged over my words.

on't flatter yourself

Let's just say that if the rate of comments being posted equaled karma points, this thread would have been #1 on reddit for a moment there.

What's rate of comments got to do with whether I'm "outraged" or not? It's just that you keep have no choice but to keep correcting you

Your logic makes me sad

And it worked I was totally shocked and immediately went over to their site to see why they'd given it such a low score!

Bastards!

I just called it like I saw it, so it's not a lie but my interpretation of his words.

You said he posted something, he didn't, I don't know how much simpler I can make it for you :(

Ok, maybe I should have said: Still not sure why people are so sad over my words. I recall correcting you trying to correct me so it's not as one sided as you think.

Funny, I don't recall anything of the sort. More BS perhaps?

Just give it a rest, seriously, I'm embarrassed for you

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

Another reviewer fuelled by haterade. While some might say McShea has valid criticisms that he backs up with points from taken from the game, by some way his principal criticism is that it's still a Zelda game and largely retains the gameplay components that are the core of the series (i.e. fetch-quests etc.). The equivalent would be to criticise Call of Duty for retaining a "tired and dated" perk system or regenerative health. Poor implementation of these components could be the subject of fair criticism, but not simply their inclusion alone. McShea is basically saying fetch-quests are old news, therefore the game suffers because of their inclusion. He never really attempts to actually explain why these particular fetch-quests are poorly implemented, he simply doesn't like the idea of them. It's unprofessional journalism and it smacks of sensationalism for the sake of a few cheap website hits.

My Pre-Order has been in for Skyward Sword for awhile now. I just have to ask my friend to borrow his WM+ :D
