I did that with New Super Mario Bros Wii. I bought it and didn't touch it for about 5-6 months. I then finally got around to beating it. Sometimes I just buy too many damn games.

Seems like anything slapped with the word Mario does gets amazing scores!
I like Mario also but reviewers seem to be bias when it comes to its games or nintendo for that matter
