I don't think religion has alot of relevance at this point. It's still terrible news nonetheless. Why are we humans so intolerable? it's always violence first, understanding later.

It is not uncommon for preschool kids to touch their genitals, show their genitals to each other and touch them. It's just playtime and it doesn't occupy their lives like adults. It's all part of exploration and their love to learn.

The article doesn't mention enough details but I really doubt there was any sexual act. The extremely homophobic mother porbably just perceived it as such and punished the poor kids accordingly.

I once knew some dad who burnt his son's butt because he had fecal incontinence at 5. I wonder what would've happened if the kid had urinary incontinence instead. He was my grandmother neighbour living in a very poor district in Amman "جبل النظيف". My god how much I wanted to slap him in the face but I was a kid myself.

bloded : rofl. I had a cousin who flashed every kid he saw. I used to run away from him and stick to mom. Man I am laughing so hard remembering that right nowXD

He is obviously too ignorant to figure out that there was something pathologically wrong with his child and assumed that the kid was being lazy or retarded.
