Nintendo would be so terrified to make another Zelda afterwards that Miyamoto's head would implode trying to repeat the success.

It is or it isn't. Nintendo has already demonstrated the advantages Wii U could provide for New Super Mario Bros, and as far as Kart goes, it would provide merely another option
