I disagree. The PS3 port of the Chronicles games is Capcom's test game as well as that Raccoon City game that's developed by some Americans.

Id agree with Chronicles if it wasnt Japan only. Why cant Revelations be a test?? Im not talking the game itself but the price. Either way I still think it would do ok, 40 or 50 doesnt matter.

You really believe that? Anyway, 3DS games seriously ovepriced in UK when looking at price ratios/differences on other platforms between regions. This price change better not affect UK because that would really be taking the piss.

im talking strictly PS3 ports, unless they are coming over and i havent heard anything about it doing, so for now at least those are Japan only

RE isn't one of my top game series but if a game happened to cost that much and I really wanted it, can't do anything about it, I'd just buy it

Anyone considered that is because it's the first game to have 4GB cartridge, by now games had all a 2GB. So it costs more by nature, it's like Wii game, in gigs.

For me the price is not the problem, I can buy it. My problem is that I want the 3ds and the PS Vita to appeal to the mass market because I love handhelds and I don't want this to be last generation of dedicated gaming handhelds. But the mass market thinks with the pocket and I don't think this prices can't compete with cheap smartphone games.

Personally I'd pay the price, this is near the very top of the list of games I am looking forward to.

That said:
1. This should definitely affect sales negatively.
2. I just placed my pre-order with Amazon, so at least for this game $39.99 is a done deal for me...

Yeah HD is so expensive - let's take for example Catherine or other small Japanise games - they costed so much developers are crying and bancrupting everywhere because they sold only 250-500k copies....

Or that ultra huge Sniper game for X360/PC which made 10 milions of Euro profit on sub 1 milion euro budget :D
