Also, at the start of the 3rd sentance, I was supposed to write "Maybe", not "Many". The edit function doesn't work on my phone.

Ok I will leave you alone but I just wanted you to play a game which I thought you would like once you got into it.

@op

i don't think they are too equal i mean what can we expect? we can expect shooters in the future, in the forrest, in cities, desert/snow and we have all these games. it's like movies they are all in a city, forrest, desert or in the future/past as well. or the foes? robots, animals, zombies, humans, fantasy whatever things... i don't know what you expect?

if you talk about the gameplay what do you want to do? you can jump, shoot, hide, run away^^, swim, use freaking augmantations lol don't know the problem.

It seems theres not much you can do because the developers dont want to spend time inovating when they can just sell in bulk with hardley any effort

Wait... does this mean im not human?

I agree that the fps genre, is becoming very generic, but this happened very recently. Even in the beginning of this generation there have been many unique fps. Killzone 2, halo 3, team fortress 2, crysis, left 4 dead, bioshock, portal, borderlands and fallout 3, are all very different from one another.

In the past two years we've gotten Call of Duty MW2 and its expansion Black Ops, medal of honor... homefront... bad company 2 and its more high def remake Battlefield 3(but this time with jets!?!).

Crysis 2 and killzone 3 basically got rid of their predecessors unique formula in favor of becoming just more COD clones. Resistance 3 and bulletstorm tried to be different and we clearly see how well, i mean bad they are selling.

Call of Duty really killed the fps genre imo excpet of course if you like call of duty, which I'm sorry I'm bashing so much, but those of us who don't like it are stuck having our once favorite franchises changed to entice the huge call of duty fanbase.

As for tps, Uncharted and Gears of War are extremly overrated. I especially wonder why so many people think uncharted has a great story line. It doesn't.

The good tps, in terms of gameplay, vanquish, dead space, and infamous are few and far in between. All this is IMO of course.

i don't know wha you thiink how they could innovate? give an example what you would like to do in a shooter? using a skateboard and shooting flying pigs on the moon?

Personally, i only like scifi shooters. Resistance and Killzone.(Bought but sold Crysis 2). Ive only played 5 military shooters this gen and i agree with you (MoH, CoD 4,MW2,BO, BBC2)

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)

Go buy Unreal Tournament on steam, then wait till Bioshock Infinite. If that doesn't work we've lost you

Bioshock was a unique take on the FPS genre but Bioshock Infinite will be a cut above the rest and blow expectations away.

don't give up theres still time but just watch for the shooters that look like they stand out, study them and then say to your self have i done this before in any shooter i've ever play'd?

if the answer is yes then you know not to buy but if your also a story person take that into consideration aswell.
