Nitendo data is just US, Europe and Japan... Other EMEAA and other Americas is out.

Well the gaps then being accounted for by vgchartz in those regions are:

PS3: 1.58 million

DS: 0.57 million

360: 1.08 million

Wii: 1.28 million

PSP: 0.65 million

A breakdown of the regions counted vs vgchartz would be good.
