lurkerwithnosoul said: - Halo - Microsoft - Xbox Live/ Xbox Live Arcade - Achievements - Avatars That's all in order what comes to mind when thinking about Xbox brand. But is this a serious thread? "Racist/Homophobic preteen boys"? "Poorly hardware"? "Failure in Japan"? Of all the good things you could come up with, you come up with the most negative ones. |
I did come up with good ones - better Multiplat games, good controller for some games, etc. Unfortunately, most of my experience with Xbox has been negative. I liked when they were having exclusive jRPGs in 2008-2009, and I bought one for that. When that stopped, I felt a little cheated - even though MS has it's reasons for dropping the jRPGs (which confirms alot of my thoughts about the Xbox userbase).
The fact remains, no matter how good the Xbox is for shooters and online gaming - I could care less about those two things. I understand others really like those two things (majority of people in my country do). I'm speaking for myself.
"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY." --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials
