This year's GOTY will be a lockout between The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword and Uncharted 3:Drake's Deception. Batman: Arkham City could be in the mix as well. For next year I hope Starhawk is in the mix for GOTY.

which means LittleBigPlanet 2 is right out, in spite of getting 92-93.

Of course. To be honest, before you mentioned it, I forgot that both of those games even came out this year. I'd also throw in Catherine as something that will likely get overlooked for some awards (no Western site is likely to give any consideration for GOTY though).

@Soriku- Did they? My apologies. If so, then good for them! The 93 metacritic is what it deserves IMO, if not higher!

Didn't Portal 2 win this year's Golden Joystick for best game? I could have sworn it won something there...
