Disapointed Reach is digital, would have liked to see its sales spikes here for retail.

But MS has went on record many times this year saying they planned 360 to be the top selling console in 2011 globally. Right now Europe and Japan PS3 sales are too much for NA 360 sales to compensate for. 

Its really puzzling how MS is not budging on the price, especially since there has been no official price cut since 2008. 

Would have been nice to see ridiculous halo reach sales over the holidays. Curse you microsoft, don't you now there are dozens of vgchartz fanatics you will deeply anger by giving away the digital copy instead of the physical. What I fear most is that online retailers will start selling halo reach download codes for ridiculously cheap like they did with alan wake and then halo reach physical sales will collapse.

The halo reach, fable 3 bundle will obviously sell well, but only to people who would have bought a 360 anyway. They are clearly trying to make a bundle for the casuals and one for core gamers. Since they seem to be trying to win the holidays without a pricecut they should have at least given us some good bundling, which they can obviously afford since the 360 hasn't had a pricecut in so long.

It should have been 4gig kinect bundle with kinect adventures, the disney game, and the sesamie street game for $300 to try to appeal to parents buying a gift for their little kid. The people who are buying the 250gig+kinect 360 are the core audience. The casuals are buying the 4gig+kinect so it makes no sense to bundle the 250gig+kinect with some casual little kids game. Parents aren't going to spend $400 on a gift. $300 is the max they should make a casual bundle cost

For the "core bundle" they should have made a custom 320gig 360 with custom sounds and visuals that includes the best known 360 exclusive ips. It should be bundled with forza 4, gears of war 3, halo reach, fable 3, and 1 year of xbox live gold for $400.

Both bundles should come out mid-late novemeber, giving forza 4 and gears of war 3 plenty of time to sell before the bundling begins. I think those bundles might actually convince people to buy xbox 360s who might have not bought a 360 without the bundles. 

Additionally they should have worked with Ubisoft and tried to make a kinect bundle to appeal to girls with 4gig xbox with just dance 2 and dance central 2 for $350.

That was most likely just PR bullcrap... they knew Sony was going to outsell them in Europe and Japan no matter what, so why cut the price further when it wouldn't change the outcome anyway, and they'd end up losing all that money they would have made otherwise?

Though I agree that these holiday bundles are totally lame... what parent is gonna spend $400 on that crappy Kinect bundle for their kids?  If anything, M$ should have dropped the price of the standalone Kinect units down to $100, and introduced a 4GB bundle w/ Kinect for just $250 for the holidays.  That would really have boosted sales without cutting too much out of their bottom line.

In Europe, you can buy a 4GB-Kinect-Bundle with Kinect Sports 2. That seems to be the better Holiday-Bundle than this Kinect one, they released.

Well we will have an idea how much it sold from the bundle digitally. All we have to do is take the numbers that the other bundled game did. Subtract some sales and then we will have a rough figure for how much Reach sales are...but unfortunately there is no way to find out how many hundreds of thousands of sales Reach has sold digitally since it came out on XBL DD months ago. I bet it's over 9 million right now if you add those sales to the current numbers.

So the PS3 will come out on top this year unless the Wii just suddenly explodes during the holidays, which is possible....

The games they have bundled are pretty good and I like the "core" bundle with Reach and Fable 3, but I don't agree on the Kinect one. MS should have bundled the kinect games with the $299 4GB system W/Kinect instead of 250GB W/kinect. Most parents will not spend $400+ on their kid. Hopefully the kinect bundle is with both the 4GB and 250GB.

Halo & Carnvial Games are digital downloads correct? (Judging from the pictures). Does this mean Fable and Kinect Adventures will get a boost in sales?

None of them really look that interesting to me. The kinect bundle is especially bad.
