The guy that wrote the article is a big time hater.

 my thoughts EXACTLY

"It feels less "sim" than GT and that's why I particularly like it.
You can fuck around more in this game. Sometimes I like to just take a supercar, go on Montegi circuit with free race and drive backwards into stuff for hours. SO fun lol." - anonymous gaffer

2 different audiences these games have

That reads like a "A can't possibly be better than B, because they are in a different market" article. Reminds me of something.

He just pointed what differentiates the two games... Turn 10 and PD choose different paths to made their racing game... one more "sim" like and other more "game" like.

Anyway.... look like the people still like more a "sim" than a "game" for racing games (sales wise of course).

not if you count mario kart though ( thats if you don't count kart racing as a seperate genre )

I'm sorry but both the articles basically read like this. Gran Turismo 5 is more realistic because its more realistic which isn't proof. Once I see an article that explains the subdle physics that forza 4 apparantly lacks, I might be inclined to agree. But calling forza an arcade racer is funny. Yes in the easy difficulty settings it is, but with all assistance turned off it plays far more like GT than need for speed.

I'm still uncertain why night driving or weather is so space intensive that they have problems getting it on DVD9...

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

i'm not sure but i don't think the disc capacity was the reason for that... i think it was mentioned that they wouldn't have been able to keep the framerate stable if those features were included

Time constraint is your answer, it has nothing to do with dvd9.

Absolutely beautiful

These near meltdowns/damage control are so awesome

Both GT5 and Forza 4 are top of the line awesome racing SIMS. Neither one is massively better than the other.

Since GT5's core strength is the PS3 exclusive reality distortion field, I agree.
