Good PS3 and 360 numbers. Why Gears 3 is so low? Or will it go up in the upcoming weeks?

3DS is a handheld Ps3/Xbox360/Wii are consoles so he is correct when he states the ps3 is back on top.

Well according to that Nintendo PR statement from

(this is the original source of all those npd sales reports i believe.)

3ds sold 260,000 units for the entire month of September in the U.S.
So thats ~60k a week. So this means Japan Sales of the 3ds were almost the same as the U.S. and Europe have been outselling 3ds by ~20k weekly. This is unprecedented.
So which means if u were to adjust the sales figures weekly for the past month it would look very odd compared to other regions to say the least.

To me the only way to make sense of this is to call BS on that "PR" statement and the 3ds actually sold 360,000 as reported here:

This makes more sense because I would assume to overtrack by ~>120,000 is not possible. Unless something is really wrong with vgchartz.

Nice stuff. PS3 back on top! Huge falloff for Gear3...Surprised that it was that frontloaded. Rage did OK I guess. Dark Souls crushed Demon's souls opening week PS360, but I must say that it is not as satifsying as the first; perhaps as it feels like I have been down that road before.
FIFA is a monster.
Next few weeks will be unreal to watch (Battlefield 3, Uncharted 3, MW3)!
Wonder what Forza 4 FW sales will be? Hmm

OT: Those are some nice numbers from FIFA and PES.

All of the top 10 games sold> 200,000 this week. :D

Japan

HW: decent but unexciting week, PES isn't able to boost PS3, both PS3 and 3DS had better weeks in September. PSP is the only one up.
SW: another good week.

WW

HW: PS3 on top of home consoles again is the only noteworthy fact, but overall HW is stationary despite another week of big SW launches.
SW: meh, despite big launches, overall it's down, except Wii, PSP, DS and PC, big launches werent enough to balance the big drop of bigger, but front-loaded previously launched games. Maybe the huge amount of new launches in this period is making even big games more front-loaded, with an endless spotlight stealing.

seems like VGC is great with tracking wii as of lately, being slightly under tracked in september, but that probably means way over tracked in EMEAA.
