because pointer controls>>>gamepad. why dont you try it before you knock it, if you dont like it then knock it. And no social shit for PS4??? Sony will get slaughtered even worse next time around

Not really. Launching the PS4 with no "social shit" would bring Sony major plus points among the typical hardcore gamer demographic who has been their main audience all along. Nintendo has no chance to sell to these people by default and Microsoft will only hurt themselves if they go for "social shit" while Sony does not. It's all about image.

this ^

sony have always been good with the hardcore market and worried about the social shit after (PS2 for example with mass market penetration with hardcore games then Singstar etc expanded it further)

what social shit are you guys talking about? im thinking more along the lines of online gaming and things like that. What are you referring too

Something like Move, because that really is the only thing that made sense in the context of the first post of this stack.

im pretty sure there are Move compatible games that you could play buy yourself, but if we are talking about Sony leaving that whole dancing, exercise genres that heavily associate with motion gaming, then yeah i can see how someone would think that, i dont agree neccersarily but I get it

No, proof that Move did not do what Sony wanted it to do.

Kinect did awesome?! thats funny cause you were going on about how It was supposed to move hardware and going by sales of 360 this year, Kinect did nothing to move 360 hardware. I dont think it did bad, but I wouldnt say awesome.

Nor is there proof Move did what they wanted. Ultimately, Move software sales are poor and the device clearly isn't selling well. Most of us already put two and two together.

You can't deny Kinect gave the 360 a significant boost in 2010. The Kinect has sold pretty well in 2011 so its possible it helped keep 360 sales steady. I expect it to keep 360 sales strong this holiday as well. I think Kinect did awesome because it has been a top selling item for the year and its also a high price item.
